Dźwiękocyk
Can a sound have weight? A pleasant and calming one, or a light and ticklish one? Sometimes music is like a warm blanket beneath which we melt with contentment. “Dźwiękocyk” is a sensory concert for families with children aged 0–3, during which we will experience the sensations that come from contact with Intibag objects.
Touch, movement and pressure will take us inside the body, where the nervous system will enter a state of self-regulation. Enveloped in layers of sounds by Morton Feldman and George Crumb, we will seek out a space for relaxation and an encounter with what sleeps within us. The concert’s title alludes to weighted blankets, which affect our parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress and inducing calm. Will we also be jumping and tumbling about? Of course! But for now — shhh!

Intibag is a brand and a research project. We create innovative sensory objects that develop body awareness, regulate the nervous system and support relationships with other people. We are the authors of sensory installations that create a safe environment for self-regulation. We are developing the Intibag Method, which incorporates scientific research on neuroplasticity, nervous system self-regulation and vagus nerve function. We pay particular attention to senses such as touch, deep pressure and the vestibular sense. We are in ongoing collaboration with therapists, psychologists, educators and parents who use our objects. We dream of a world where our objects create a safe environment for self-regulation in every institution and every home.
