28.10 Sat 16:00

We invite you to a concert that is the result of collaboration and friendship between three young composers: Patrycja Kołodziejska, Julia Marczuk and Włodzimierz Żukowski.

…used when something is located between objects
…used when something is shared or there are many of it, and parts go to several recipients
…marking the possibility of choice
…determining a time interval
…emphasizing the indirect nature of something
…used when something is surrounded by a larger amount of something else

Each composer considers “what is between” in their own way, inspired by, among others, the philosophy of Jacques Derrida and the poetry of Mary Ruefle. In addition to three world premieres, the concert will also feature a work by Morton Feldman, whose music often finds itself in the spaces between sound and silence, time and stillness.
