Tkanki tożsamości

Tkan­ki Tożsamoś­ci (Fab­ric of Iden­ti­ty) is an artis­tic project by the AFTERMOTHERS col­lec­tive about gen­er­a­tional­ly trans­mit­ted infor­ma­tion that shapes our beliefs. 

We wish to exam­ine the ways in which, across three gen­er­a­tions, views and atti­tudes have been formed in women regard­ing fem­i­nin­i­ty, free­dom and tol­er­ance — and fur­ther, how those con­vic­tions, along with the emo­tions, expe­ri­ences and life real­i­ties con­nect­ed to them, have left their imprint on how these women per­ceive them­selves. Through artis­tic means we will try to draw atten­tion to the still-rel­e­vant dis­course con­cern­ing the equal rights and equal oppor­tu­ni­ties of women in the con­tem­po­rary world.
