On the last Sat­ur­day of Octo­ber, Hash­tag Lab will once again be tak­en over by ĄsąBąble! We invite you to a spe­cial con­cert for fam­i­lies with chil­dren aged 3–7.

Climb­ing trees, jump­ing over pud­dles and play­ing hide-and-seek — our hands, legs and voic­es all love these things, though adults do not always share that enthu­si­asm, do they? Hula­jnóż­ki is a musi­cal-move­ment per­for­ma­tive event in which artists con­nect­ed with move­ment, voice, com­po­si­tion and the­atre will sum­mon their “wild girls” — the ones who have absolute­ly no idea what these phras­es mean: “sit up straight,” “don’t shout like that,” “keep your legs togeth­er,” “smile,” “care­ful, you’ll get dirty.” We will allow our­selves some musi­cal fam­i­ly frol­ick­ing, some com­fort­able sprawl­ing, a loud­er sigh, unre­strained laugh­ter and col­lec­tive tiger-roar­ing. And then togeth­er we will com­pose and per­form a piece that releas­es empow­er­ing wishes.

Octo­ber is the month in which we cel­e­brate Inter­na­tion­al Girls’ Day. All of them: the one who loves pink and the one who prefers blue, the one in bal­let flats and the one in train­ers, the one who will become a sci­en­tist and the one who dreams of acting.

Are boys also invit­ed? Absolute­ly, with just as much warmth!

Before and after the con­certs, par­ents and car­ers with chil­dren are invit­ed to enjoy treats at our café.

The ĄsąBąble project cre­ative­ly devel­ops the con­cept of the “Smykow­iz­je” series of the “Muzy­ka jest dla wszys­t­kich” foun­da­tion, with­in which in 2016–2022 Hash­tag Ensem­ble and Anna Sza­w­iel per­formed togeth­er more than 130 con­certs and mini-per­for­mances, search­ing for the most inter­est­ing forms of pre­sent­ing new music. The con­cept and cura­tor­ship of Smykow­iz­je was the work of Anna Kierkosz. It was the first series of events in Poland addressed to the very youngest, in which con­tem­po­rary music played the lead role.

The Con­tem­po­rary Music Space Hash­tag Lab is co-financed by the Cap­i­tal City of Warsaw.

Series part­ners are ZAW Stoart and the War­saw Branch of the Pol­ish Asso­ci­a­tion of Musi­cians. The media patron of the ĄsąBąble series is Kos­mos dla Dziewczynek.
