DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL THE WALK WILL TAKE PLACE AT A LATER DATE We invite you to a sound walk for families with children and four-legged companions around Ochota!
Let us admit it: love can be controlling and filled with anxiety about the safety of those who are smaller and dependent on us. It does not let go of the lead, does not allow a turn into an unfamiliar gateway, onto a stranger’s courtyard, walking across a lawn on a whim, climbing into roadside bushes, wandering through a train station. We do not even notice that those who are smaller than us never walk their own paths. Or do they?
Let us reverse roles. Let us follow a child’s fantasy, surprise our beloved dog, leaving them complete freedom of choice of route. At first they will stop dead in their tracks. We will take care of their safety discreetly. We will listen to them and lose ourselves in the surprising places they lead us to. We will meet at 18:00 at Barska 29 at the entrance to the Contemporary Music Space Hashtag Lab; we will talk about the premises of the planned experience, establish a starting point, think about what a sound walk is and how to listen attentively to one’s surroundings. Then we will set off into the… unknown. After 50 minutes we will meet again for a conversation in the garden at the back of the villa at Barska 29. We ask all pet owners to bring their animals on a lead, and dogs dealing with aggression issues are welcome in elegant muzzles. One may also come alone, provided one agrees to follow another adult or accepts the role of guide during the walk.
Registration
Registration for the walk is required. The number of places is limited to a maximum of 14 primates and 7 members of the canine family. To register for the event, send an email to: [email protected]
