I be, i me #PlimPlamPlum.
Contemporary music and art for young children — interactive workshops and micro-concerts for families with children aged 0–5
A dot. So small. Tiny. The smallest in the family of shapes and signs. A hole, a speck, a mote of dust. A little point. And yet it means so much. You can’t say it’s “neither here nor there”. It is precisely “all of it” — it always knows everything. A master of decisiveness and concentration. The smallest thing in a score. What does a dot sound like? And what does a piece made of many dots sound like? During the workshop we will play with points, dots and droplets: those visible to the eyes and those audible to the ears. We will listen. And we will create our own individual, sonic dots.

She is currently curator of education and projects at Teatr Lalek Guliwer and curator of the Festival of Contemporary Music for Children “Mała Warszawska Jesień”.
About the series: #PlimPlamPlum. Contemporary music and art for young children is a series of workshops, micro-concerts and interactive events in which the very youngest children — even those from their earliest years of life — have the chance to encounter professional, classical contemporary music in the finest performances. During the workshops and activities within the series, children will experience joyful and creative play engaging the child together with a parent, as well as creative, sensory improvisations and tasks focused on achieving sensory integration. Specially chosen pieces, contemporary songs and improvisations, sound games, sensory-art and movement activities, producing sounds and timbres “close to the baby’s ear”, but also working with attentiveness and in proximity to the child’s other senses — and above all the careful observation of small children’s reactions to sound — are the goal and central premise of the #PlimPlamPlum workshop series, realised within the framework of the artistic scholarship of the Capital City of Warsaw.
The event is realised within the framework of the 2024 artistic scholarship of the Capital City of Warsaw “PlimPlamPlum. Contemporary music and art for young children”. Patrons and partners of the scholarship project: Teatr Lalek Guliwer, Nowy Teatr, Przestrzeń Muzyki Współczesnej Hashtag Lab, MFMW “Warszawska Jesień”, Fundacja Muzyka jest dla wszystkich.
Przestrzeń Muzyki Współczesnej Hashtag Lab is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw.
