Finał Młodej Akademii

We invite you to the con­cert clos­ing the young musi­cians’ course!

Since Octo­ber 2024, two groups of stu­dents from War­saw music schools have been meet­ing reg­u­lar­ly at Hash­tag Lab, delv­ing into the craft of con­tem­po­rary music per­for­mance and impro­vi­sa­tion. In this way the young musi­cians were able to try their hand in musi­cal areas for which there is usu­al­ly lit­tle time and space with­in the for­mal music edu­ca­tion sys­tem. In Mło­da Akademia we placed an empha­sis on music-mak­ing togeth­er, impro­vis­ing and learn­ing new tech­niques with­out the fear of being judged.

This sea­son, for the first time, we cre­at­ed two age groups and invit­ed the out­stand­ing dou­ble bass play­er Sébastien Beli­ah to col­lab­o­rate. The old­er group was intend­ed for sec­ondary school stu­dents, but… along the way it turned out that adults were inter­est­ed too! We wel­comed them with open arms and at the clos­ing con­cert every­one will per­form togeth­er, shar­ing what we have been work­ing on.

The pro­gram will include con­tem­po­rary works, impro­vi­sa­tions, and com­po­si­tions cre­at­ed dur­ing the workshops!
