Oddech-ruch-słowo
A workshop combining body work with the spoken word. An intensive practice for those who wish to deepen their stage awareness, body and movement awareness, and stage imagination, learn to deliver text with full presence, and develop expression through movement.
We place the body at the centre as a tool of communication, and the performer as a whole: thinking, feeling and acting. We develop bodily expression. We work on the emotional and physical interpretation of text. We unite voice, movement and intention.
Duration: 2 hours with a break.
Workshop participants
- Will learn the basics of conscious stage movement (rhythm, space, tension, partnering),
- Will work on body dynamics and expressiveness in stage action.
- Will discover techniques for interpreting text using emotional, physical and rhythmic analysis,
- Will connect word with action through improvisations, études and work with prepared text (dramatic, poetic or their own),
- Will learn to work with text as a living impulse, not a “recitation”,
- Will discover how movement can strengthen the meaning of speech and increase the authenticity of delivery.
The workshop is intended for actors, performers, singers (both classical and popular), and all those interested in conscious movement and vivid text interpretation.
Suitable for both those with stage experience and beginners.
