The finale of this year’s AżTak Fes­ti­val is a home filled with the ever-new, yet every­day, expe­ri­ence of close­ness. A space full of emo­tion, anx­i­ety, con­fu­sion and open­ness. A home over­flow­ing with hope glow­ing in the count­less shades of love that anoth­er per­son can bestow on us, but some­times also with the pain of sep­a­ra­tion and the expe­ri­ence of loss.

Dur­ing the clos­ing con­cert the vil­la on Bars­ka will be filled with the del­i­cate con­so­nances “com­pos­ing love” straight from the 21st cen­tu­ry (“Mod­ern Romance”), nos­tal­gic rem­i­nis­cences of a poem by James Joyce (“Sweet love, away”), the sounds of anx­i­ety bound up with part­ing (“Girl­friend”) and pure, unbri­dled joy (“The Gar­den of Love”).

About the dif­fer­ent colours of love we will be told by acoustic sounds, elec­tron­ic sounds, and even sounds drawn from spe­cial­ly con­struct­ed sound objects — ameuble­ment de musique — built by Kuba Krzewiński.

The AżTak Fes­ti­val is organ­ised by Fun­dac­ja Sfera Har­monii, which runs the Com­mu­ni­ty Cul­tur­al Insti­tu­tion Con­tem­po­rary Music Space Hash­tag Lab and the ensem­ble Hash­tag Ensemble.
