TRIOSSIA trio akordeonowe
In the course of its brief existence, TriOssia became the first accordion ensemble ever to reach the final of the YCAT agency auditions, as a result of which they performed at Wigmore Hall in London and Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin.
The musical term “Ossia” comes from the Italian word meaning “alternatively” and grants the performer greater freedom in choosing appropriate techniques — which precisely reflects our intentions. The founding principles of our project are above all the reinterpretation of great works, as well as the exploration of the accordion’s sonorous possibilities in the most recent repertoire.

About the artists
TriOssia is an accordion trio made up of graduates of the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Their primary goal is the performance of transcriptions of well-known classical works, as well as world premieres of new music written specifically for this chamber line-up. Despite their short performing history, they have already given concerts in Great Britain at the famous Wigmore Hall in London, in Germany at Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin, and in Denmark and Poland. In 2022 they were the first accordion ensemble to reach the final of the YCAT agency auditions in London.
