Apollo i Marsjasz

The con­cert’s title — and its guid­ing motif — refers to the famous poem by Zbig­niew Her­bert Apol­lo i Mars­jasz, which rein­ter­prets the myth of the musi­cal duel between the god Apol­lo and the satyr Marsyas.

The pro­gramme includes world pre­miere per­for­mances of works by six young com­posers, writ­ten spe­cial­ly for this occa­sion. The event is an invi­ta­tion to dis­cov­er the mod­ern sounds of the vio­la in var­i­ous guis­es, includ­ing with the use of elec­tron­ics and new media.

Collectif4 is a non-prof­it organ­i­sa­tion whose mis­sion is the pro­mo­tion and edu­ca­tion of soci­ety in the field of con­tem­po­rary music.
