We invite you to the autumn Elektro concert at Hashtag Lab. Elektro is a series of experimental electronic music concerts. 

We invite artists search­ing for new sounds, cre­ators of avant-garde elec­troa­coustic instru­ments, vir­tu­osos of new media and ana­logue syn­the­siz­ers. The guests for this edi­tion of the series will be Teoni­ki Rożynek and Dominik Strychars­ki, two high­ly orig­i­nal artists who move freely across avant-garde elec­tron­ics, film and the­atre music, and con­tem­po­rary music alike. Their musi­cal raw mate­r­i­al will be junk objects, sound waste, but also voice and recorders along with their elec­tron­ic trans­for­ma­tions and distortions.

Teoni­ki Rożynek — a com­pos­er with a clear affin­i­ty for sound design. Focused on lis­ten­ing to real­i­ty, which is her pri­ma­ry source of son­ic mate­r­i­al. A col­lec­tor of
sound waste and junk objects that can be used to gen­er­ate sound. She cre­ates elec­tron­ic and elec­troa­coustic music, solo and in col­lec­tives, as well as film
music. She plays vio­lin, elec­tron­ics and acci­den­tal­ly found objects. She enjoys col­lab­o­rat­ing with artists from oth­er fields, co-cre­at­ing films, per­for­mances and mul­ti­me­dia instal­la­tions. Her
works have been per­formed at many fes­ti­vals, includ­ing Warsza­wska Jesień, Musi­ca Elec­tron­i­ca Nova, Sacrum Pro­fanum, Unsound, Con­tain­er­clang and Bedin­go Inter­na­tion­al Fes­ti­val of Explorato­ry Music.

Dominik Strychars­ki — com­pos­er, flutist, vocal­ist, impro­vis­er, per­former, teacher and writer.
He is involved in almost every cre­ative aspect of music, from com­po­si­tion through per­for­mance to sound design and teach­ing. Lau­re­ate of Pasz­porty Poli­ty­ki 2021, cre­ator of
music for around 100 the­atre pro­duc­tions, many films and radio dra­mas. Author of sev­er­al dozen albums of con­tem­po­rary and jazz music. He has giv­en hun­dreds of per­for­mances and con­certs. He plays and com­pos­es con­tem­po­rary jazz in many forms, con­tem­po­rary music, elec­tron­ic music, post-hip-hop, noise and var­i­ous kinds of impro­vised music. He is one of the few flutists explor­ing
the pos­si­bil­i­ties of recorders in con­tem­po­rary, jazz and impro­vised music.

Domin­istry is a mul­ti­di­men­sion­al solo project com­bin­ing con­tem­po­rary elec­tron­ic music, per­for­mance, noise and ambi­ent, built around the voice and its elec­tron­ic trans­for­ma­tion, with the involve­ment of
recorders and sam­pling. In the Domin­istry project impro­vi­sa­tion also plays a huge­ly impor­tant role — open to every pos­si­ble influ­ence, draw­ing on all the cre­ator’s avail­able expe­ri­ences.
The premise of the project is the absence of any styl­is­tic or philo­soph­i­cal con­straints, which allows the cre­ator to oscil­late between rad­i­cal­ly exper­i­men­tal tex­ture, post-club elec­tron­ics and almost func­tion­al music.
