Wprowadzenie do metody Michaiła Czechowa
A one-off, two-hour, intensive session that will introduce participants to one of the most inspiring and creative acting techniques of the 20th century.
The Michael Chekhov Method, valued by, among others, Anthony Hopkins, Marilyn Monroe, and Clint Eastwood, combines work with imagination, impulse, and the so-called psychological gesture, allowing the actor to transcend their own limitations and reach genuine expression.
During the workshop, participants will learn the foundations of this method and its application in stage practice, discover how imagination can become a source of living, authentic action, explore the role of the psychological gesture as a tool for building a character, and — through exercises drawing on elements of mime — develop precision of movement, awareness of gesture, and conscious use of body language.
The workshop is open both to those with acting experience and to those who are just beginning their adventure with theatre. This is a space for exploration, experiment, and work in an atmosphere of creative freedom.
