Fringe Warszawa I Przejdę obok Ciebie jeszcze raz, jeszcze raz spojrzę

For the sec­ond time we invite you to an exhi­bi­tion in two parts — the first can be seen at the B383 gallery at ul. Bars­ka 38, and the sec­ond in the court­yard of Hash­tag Lab.

The exhi­bi­tion title is not so much a dec­la­ra­tion as a qui­et request to stop, to slow down, to let one’s gaze catch on some­thing, to attune one­self to the whis­per that flows from the mat­ter of the works on dis­play. It is an appeal for engage­ment with art, for an attempt to under­stand that what we see car­ries with it sto­ries and the pres­ence of the artists. The exhi­bi­tion brings togeth­er two groups of cre­ators — two gen­er­a­tions, dif­fer­ent sen­si­bil­i­ties, meet­ing here in dia­logue. Although their lan­guages dif­fer, they share the need to speak of the world through form and sym­bols that cre­ate a polypho­ny which — like the tit­u­lar ges­ture of look­ing — draws us both to reflec­tion and to the ques­tion of what we tru­ly see. In a world of excess stim­uli and images, the fact that I will pass by you once more and look again is an invi­ta­tion to attentiveness.
