PREMIERA SDK: Wojciech Kosma / Nasze pragnienia są związane

18.11 Tue 18:00

Shared reading, togetherness, a musical and visual experience centred on the poetry book “Nasze pragnienia są związane”. The improvised gathering will be hosted by Wojtek Kosma, the piano soundscape will be in the hands of Emilia Gołos, and the visuals by Basia Strzeżek.

I write poems in order to speak them aloud. That simplifies them, sharpens them, but also makes them more real. I cannot — especially publicly — share something I don’t believe in. Borrowing the saying “whoever sings, prays twice” — I sing poems, or even let them sing themselves. In the most beautiful songs there is almost no room for language; melody chooses the words on its own. Nasze pragnienia są związane is a record of my speaking aloud, of listening, of yielding to a voice, of surrendering it, and finally — in the very heart of a forest, a city, a feeling — of quiet, tender humming. / Wojciech Kosma
