Adam Eljasiński

Clar­inetist, Doc­tor of Musi­cal Arts. He com­plet­ed his doc­tor­al stud­ies in clar­inet under the guid­ance of Prof. Mieczysław Stachu­ra at the Karol Lip­ińs­ki Acad­e­my of Music in Wrocław. He is a grad­u­ate of the Ostra­va Uni­ver­si­ty in Ostra­va, where he stud­ied under Prof. Val­tr Vit­ka, as well as the Con­ser­va­to­ries in Nice and Paris, where he stud­ied with Prof. Michel Lethiec and Flo­rent Heau. He is a lau­re­ate of the Diplôme d’É­tudes Musi­cales and Pre­mier Prix de Con­ser­va­toire de Nice in both solo per­for­mance and cham­ber music, as well as the Prix de Vir­tu­osité avec l’unanimité.


He per­forms in Poland and abroad, includ­ing in Aus­tria, Den­mark, Ger­many, Fin­land, the Czech Repub­lic, Por­tu­gal, Slove­nia, France, Mona­co, Roma­nia, and Chi­na. He has par­tic­i­pat­ed in many inter­na­tion­al and nation­al fes­ti­vals, includ­ing: the Nice Inter­na­tion­al Music Fes­ti­val C’est pas clas­sique; the Print­emps des Arts Fes­ti­val in Monte-Car­lo; the Pablo Casals Acad­e­my of Music Prades Cham­ber Music Fes­ti­val in France; the Inter­na­tion­al Clar­inet Con­gress CLARINETFESTMusi­ca Elec­tron­i­ca Nova in Wrocław; the Poz­nań Spring Fes­ti­val; and the East­er Fes­ti­val ded­i­cat­ed to Lud­wig van Beethoven in Warsaw.

Win­ner of over thir­ty region­al, nation­al, and inter­na­tion­al com­pe­ti­tions, includ­ing in Poland, France, Por­tu­gal, and Aus­tria. In recog­ni­tion of his artis­tic achieve­ments, he has been award­ed numer­ous artis­tic schol­ar­ships both in Poland and abroad, such as the Yama­ha Music Foun­da­tion of Europe Schol­ar­ship, the Con­ser­va­toire Nation­al de Région in Nice Schol­ar­ship, the Min­is­ter of Cul­ture Schol­ar­ship, the Low­er Sile­sian Voivode­ship Mar­shal’s Schol­ar­ship, and the City of Wrocław Pres­i­den­t’s Scholarship.

He reg­u­lar­ly par­tic­i­pates in mas­ter­class­es held both in Poland and abroad, led by many dis­tin­guished artists and edu­ca­tors such as Alessan­dro Car­bonare, Fran­cois Ben­da, Shirley Brill, Hans Chris­t­ian Braein, Michel Arrignon, Guy Dan­gain, Guy Deplus, Yves Didi­er, Michel Lethiec, Flo­rent Heau, Philippe Berrod, Pas­cal Mor­agues, Nico­las Fargeix, Jonathan Cohler, David Krakauer, Nicholas Cox, Andrew Mar­riner, Jus­to Sanz, Ilan Schul, Lud­mi­la Peterko­va, Igor Fran­ti­sak, Karel Dohnal, Andrzej Jan­ic­ki, and Arka­diusz Adamski.

In a duo with the vio­list Alek­san­dra Demows­ka-Made­js­ka, she pro­motes the works of Pol­ish com­posers and strives to expand the musi­cal reper­toire for this unique instru­men­tal com­bi­na­tion, per­form­ing cham­ber con­certs ded­i­cat­ed to the ensem­ble by Pol­ish com­posers (Weroni­ka Ratusińs­ka, Daw­id Pajdzik, Woj­ciech Błaże­jczyk) with the accom­pa­ni­ment of many renowned orchestras.

A mem­ber of the Olym­pus Mons trio, with which he per­forms in Poland and abroad, as well as #ENSEMBLE: a col­lec­tive spe­cial­iz­ing in the per­for­mance of con­tem­po­rary music, with which he has appeared at the most impor­tant fes­ti­vals in the coun­try. A pro­mot­er of the works of Pol­ish and for­eign com­posers such as Woj­ciech Błaże­jczyk, Dar­iusz Przy­byl­s­ki, Igna­cy Zalews­ki, Louis Andriessen, Peter Maxwell Davies, Thier­ry de Mey, and Luciano Berio.

As an orches­tral musi­cian, he col­lab­o­rates with the Wrocław Youth Orches­tra, the Capi­tol Musi­cal The­atre, the Gorzów Phil­har­mon­ic, and the Sin­foni­et­ta Cra­covia Orches­tra. He was a mem­ber of the youth orches­tra Orchestre de Jeunes de Méditer­ranée, the Pol­ish Sin­fo­nia Iuven­tus Orches­tra, and the War­saw Cham­ber Opera. He has per­formed under the baton of many dis­tin­guished con­duc­tors, includ­ing: Charles Dutoit, Krist­jan Järvi, François-Xavier Roth, Daniel Rus­sell Davies, Rafael Payare, Jesús López Cobos, Max­i­m­il­iano Valdés, Gabriel Chmu­ra, Michał Dworzyńs­ki, Marek Pijarows­ki, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Krzysztof Pen­derec­ki, José Maria Flo­ren­cio, and Michał Nesterowicz.

Cur­rent­ly, the clar­inet soloist of the Pol­ish Nation­al Opera and the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk.
