Fortepian, Syntezatory / Hashtag Ensemble
In Hashtag Ensemble, he plays the piano and synthesizers.
From 2005 to 2008, he studied sound directing at the Warsaw Academy of Music. During this time, he worked on sound design for short films, commercials, and sound recording on film sets.
In 2013, he completed his piano studies under Anna Jastrzębska-Quinn at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. That same year, he won the 1st prize at the XVI International Piano Competition in memory of Miłosz Magin, and at the Polish Piano Music Festival in Słupsk, he was honored with the title of Laureate of the Young Artists’ Stage. In 2016, he completed his postgraduate piano studies under Andrzej Jasiński at the Academy of Music in Katowice.
He completed a degree in piano at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw alongside an interdisciplinary Multimedia Specialization. He designs and programs interactive audiovisual installations. He has been passionate about piano improvisation from an early age.
He is a member of the Hashtag Ensemble group. For several years, he has been performing with two improvising composers, Bartosz Kowalski and Wojciech Błażejczyk, in the electroacoustic trio Sonofrenia, where they co-create free improvisations, including for his own visualizations and films, as well as performing premieres of contemporary composers’ works. With this group, he has performed at festivals such as Musica Moderna in Łódź (2009), Audio Art at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (2011), and Warsaw Autumn (2013). He is a member of the Hashtag Ensemble association, which promotes Polish and international music of the 20th and 21st centuries.
He works daily as a pianist and accompanist in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Warsaw University of Technology and at the R. Turczynowicz State Ballet School in Warsaw.
He is passionate about astronomy, programming, all branches of science, cycling, and automotive.
