Głos (Baryton) / Hashtag Ensemble
Baritone. He began his music education in 1999 at the State Secondary Music School in Białystok, specializing in vocal studies. From 2003 to 2008, he pursued studies at the Vocal Department of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, graduating with honors.
He has collaborated with many outstanding artists, chamber musicians, and directors.
In 2001 and 2006, he won the first prize at the Moniuszko Competition for Pieśń wieczorna in Białystok, and in 2010, together with percussionist Leszek Lorent, he took second place at the 14th International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in Kraków.
In 2008, he became a scholarship recipient of Société Générale Bank and a laureate of the Young Musicians Forum organized by the Austrian Cultural Forum.
Since 2000, he has performed solo parts both in Poland and abroad. He has participated in contemporary music festivals, including the International Percussion Art Festival Crossdrumming Festival, the International Contemporary Music Festival Warsaw Autumn, Sacrum Profanum in Kraków, Klang Festival in Copenhagen, Festival Aujourd’hui Musiques in Perpignan, Flâneries Musicales in Reims, Festival Novelum in Toulouse, and the International Classical Theatre Festival in Mérida.
He collaborated with the Grand Theatre — National Opera in Warsaw, the Grand Theatre in Poznań, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław, the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre and the Variete Theatre in Kraków, the Rampa Theatre and the Roma Theatre in Warsaw, as well as with L.T.L. Opera Studio (Laboratorio Toscano per la Lirica) and the Théâtre de L’Archipel in Perpignan.
He is currently a soloist at the Opera and Philharmonic Podlasie in Białystok, and performs with the Hashtag Ensemble (Warsaw) and OCAZEnigma (Zaragoza).
The album IV Symphony – Symphony on the Mercy of God by P. Łukaszewski, in which he performed the solo part, won the Fryderyk Award in 2017 in the category of Contemporary Music Album of the Year.
